Under the Willows
has spent seventeen years in book publishing, in both rights and editorial. She began her career as a foreign rights manager, acquiring translation rights across US and European markets, negotiating agreements for best-selling authors, representing publishers at the Frankfurt, London, and Bologna book fairs, and managing the HarperCollins/Harlequin Russia licensing program. She then spent seven years in editorial, leading a romance and young-adult imprint that published up to one hundred titles a year. In that role she published Anna Jane, Russia’s number-one best-selling fiction author, whose books have a combined print run of more than six million copies. Now based in Los Angeles, she devotes most of her time to building AS Literary Agency and to placing international rights for the publishers and authors it represents.
